Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

ArkLedger OS may collect information you provide directly, business and account information, and financial data that you authorize us to receive through integrated services such as QuickBooks Online and Plaid. When you use Google Sign-In, we may receive basic Google Account information that you authorize, such as your account identifier, email address, and basic profile information. We do not request access to Gmail or Google Drive content as part of our current Google Sign-In functionality.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to provide, secure, maintain, and improve ArkLedger OS and its user-facing financial management, accounting, reporting, reconciliation, and authentication features. We do not use financial data or Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it or use it to train general-purpose or public artificial intelligence models.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal, financial, or Google user data. We may share information with service providers and infrastructure partners only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and provide ArkLedger OS; when required by law or legal process; to protect the security and integrity of the service; or in connection with a business transaction where permitted by applicable law. Service providers are expected to handle information only for the services they provide to us and subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

4. Google API Data and Limited Use

ArkLedger OS accesses Google user data only after a user grants permission through Google OAuth. Our current Google integration uses basic identity information for authentication and account identification. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. If ArkLedger OS introduces features that require additional Google data or permissions, we will request the minimum permissions needed, provide appropriate notice and consent, and update this policy as necessary before using that data for the new feature.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and security records, satisfy contractual obligations, and comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements. Users may request deletion of personal information associated with their ArkLedger OS account by contacting us at the address below. We may retain limited information when required or permitted by law, for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, or enforcement of agreements.

6. Connected Accounts and Revocation

You control the third-party accounts you connect to ArkLedger OS. You may disconnect supported integrations through available account controls or the applicable provider. Google users may also revoke ArkLedger OS access through their Google Account permissions. Revoking access stops future access through that authorization, subject to information we are legally permitted or required to retain.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These safeguards include secure transmission protocols and access controls, with encryption and other protections applied as appropriate to the systems and data involved. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices and Privacy Requests

Depending on your relationship with ArkLedger OS and applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information, or ask questions about how your information is handled. We may need to verify your identity or authority before completing a request. Business customers are responsible for ensuring that they have appropriate rights and permissions for data they connect to ArkLedger OS.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as ArkLedger OS evolves or as legal, regulatory, security, or integration requirements change. We will update the “Last Updated” date when material revisions are published and provide additional notice when required by applicable law.
